![]() Ignorance is the biggest killer in this game, as there is no hand-holding and an exceptional knowledge-curve you are expected to overcome. This is only true when you don't understand it. Publicado originalmente por RopeDrink: this game is honestly just psychological terrorism. I don't have to rebuild my character and farm back trinkets to play the game. How the ♥♥♥♥ is this even remotely OK when this game abides by the dark souls no-hand-holding policy? at least in that game you don't lose anything meaningful and the walk back to a boss is 2 minutes. ![]() I don't have hours upon idle hours to waste going through the same rng f*ckover dicerolls because I didn't also spend my time away from this game tuning into the hourlong guides for each character and boss so I can survive 20 sh*t rolls in a row when I'm in a boss room. If there's an mod that adds quicksaves for this trash game I'd download it in a heartbeat. If it wasn't so unfun, I'd recommend it as a vasodilator to people who would need one. This game is honestly just psychological terrorism. Keep playing, and you'll get there literal satan gimmick that wastes half a day's worth of investment. ![]() There are other places in DD where retreating will auto-kill 1 hero, not just here. The simplest solution is to win the fight in the first place. Retreating with a hero in the pot is an automatic hero kill. ![]() This will allow you to deal +15% DMG on the next Weald quest, which will be this one and make things a hell of a lot easier.Publicado originalmente por Gilmoy:Yes, that's one of the Hags' (plural) special rules. If you can, do a corpse purifying quest just before this one to get the 'Sunshine in the Thicket' town event. Man at Arms also has nice buffs on your whole party (Man at Arms can also strike rank 3 with his basic attack, so he's a better choice than Leper or Crusader for position 1) Again, Highwayman has very nice self-buffs for that. Use any kind of DMG and CRIT buffs you can lay your hands on during camping prior to the boss. Although you also need to be sure your party is flexible regarding which position they can attack from, because if someone goes in the pot and comes out, they will move the whole party back and be on position 1, and this can mess you up big time. Highwayman and Graverobber are very nice here, as are the Arbalest and Houndmaster. ![]() Even better if they have a high chance to crit. ![]()
